Why are we running this programme?

Over 20+ years of consulting we’ve seen the impact and wearing on EDIB leaders and practitioners. Your roles are getting squeezed, the demands are increasing. Rates of overwhelm and burnout are high - the psychological and physical impact of this work is a thing! We want to play our part to resource and support you to be sustainable in this essential work you do.

What others say about working with Katy and Catalyst Collective

Fabulous, powerful, thought provoking session. I can now see positive ways to navigate inclusion.
I feel really inspired about changing my practice. Thank you!
The metaphors that you use are powerful and it’s a relief to have that to make sense of the struggle.
I’ve become much more aware of how my own unconscious bias is shaping my practice.

Working with Katy has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my career so far, and I am so thankful for this. From the start I knew that Katy was going to be my biggest cheerleader, but also challenge my thinking in a way that someone never had. She is such a naturally skilled coach, and she just knew what to do to help me capitalise on my strengths and my passions. Her friendly manner meant it was easy for me to open up to her, but her sharp perceptiveness is what kept me on track. She has provided me with all the guidance, stretch, tactics and exposure that is allowing me to feel connected and confident in a role that I love.
— Katy Morrison, DEI lead, Connect 3
Katy’s been a fantastic critical friend, ally, facilitator, coach and idea co-creator working with the Start Network over the last six months. Katy holds space beautifully, enabling colleagues to really listen and engage with one another.

Katy helped me to dial up our diversity and inclusion work in light of the Black Lives Matter awakening. This included a design jam session for all staff to be involved in discussing issues and mapping the complexity. We’ve begun to have courageous conversations. We’re now co-creating a pathway to lead from conversations to commitments, whilst allowing space to keep listening and adapting.

I’d highly recommend working with Katy if you want someone to challenge your thinking, ask probing questions that get to the heart of issues rather than dancing around them, and to enable supportive spaces.
