As a group of dance education sector leaders, we had been meeting for some time to consider how to improve racial equity within our organisations.  Katy helped us take this work forward by designing a bespoke EDI leadership programme to suit our particular needs and context.  We each came to the programme at very different starting points, but Katy skilfully led us towards a common understanding of racism and what we can do individually and collectively to make positive change.  We left feeling empowered, more knowledgeable and with a strengthen commitment to continue this journey together.

Katy Murray and Carol Tavernier from Catalyst Collective facilitated a D&I employee consultation with our employees across 5 different country offices. The consultations used thought provoking images and questions to get groups to think creatively on a range of issues, including our culture, benefits of D&I and where we are on our D&I journey.

Katy and Carol were able to provide a safe space for employees to share their experiences and contribute to discussions. Both were engaging and demonstrated high emotional intelligence during the sessions whilst ensuring that everyone contributed.

In line with our requirements, an analysis of the employee consultation was provided to the leadership team. The analysis provided real insight into how employees viewed the company and D&I journey etc. This analysis and the learning resulting from the consultations, will be used to continue to build our D&I. We appreciate the support provided by Katy and Carol and will certainly work with Catalyst Collective again in the future
